Literature and Storytelling as a tool to promote intercultural dialogue.

I would like to introduce and share with you the results of the intercultural workshop organized during the P.IN.O.K.I.O. project and coordinated by Prof. Sofia Gavriilidis of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. .
During these workshops migrant and non-migrant children have shared activities with their parents and teachers in schools of four different European countries (Italy, Portugal, Switzerland and UK). They explored intercultural dialogue through storytelling activities, children’s classic literature and invented stories. These workshops were a unique opportunity for sparking valuable intercultural dialogue between children and parents from different backgrounds and cultures.
