2015 CinAge Conference & Film Festival – Cinema for Active Ageing

The CinAge Consortium is excited to announce a new film festival and competition for 2015 – the inaugural ‘CINAGE – Cinema for Active Ageing’, on 17-18 July 2015, Northern Film School at Leeds Beckett University.

The Conference and Festival will bring together filmmakers, researchers and international colleagues from across Europe for an exciting event on European cinema and active ageing.

MISSION and Call for Submissions!

The ‘CINAGE – Cinema for Active Ageing’ festival will act as a platform to showcase work that addresses all aspects of ageing – and you are invited to submit your original short film for competition.

We will consider narrative fiction shorts which do any of the following:

– Address aspects of ageing;
– Feature senior actors (65+);
– Produced by seniors (65+) in one or more head of department role.
Short films should be no more than 10 minutes long and produced in the last 3 years.

We are awarding prizes for:
Best Film
Best Senior Performance
Best Senior Filmmaker (any HOD role).
